Early life
I’m no different than most artists with the love of drawing. One of my best memories is the time I took all the crayons from my sister at my grandparent’s hose. She retaliated by scratching me in the face, (I still have the scare to prove it! Thanks Sis.). From my early age to High School my techniques grew, and so did my passion. I won a few awards with a few of my prices in local art shows.
Taking my passion into collage, I picked up a few new mediums with Photography, and the new age of Computer graphics. I landed my feet in a local TV station as a camera operator doing nightly newscasts, and local remote news journalism. With the occasional opportunity to fill in with the local Art department doing graphic animation for postproduction. Which lead me to being the Art Director for a TV station in CA at the age of 21. I also landed a part-time job in Hollywood for a production company doing graphic animation.
Art Life
My passion had to take the back seat for some time. I didn’t rediscover my love until a few years ago. I have since picked up trying to polish my skills and working with new technologies. I now have the ability to paint digitally, then print using Ultrachrome ink on canvas using Giclee techniques.
I have such a passion for the game of Golf and being able to spend 5 hours out in mother nature seeing all of its glory. So I figured why not paint what you love. So I have decided to paint every golf course that I play. I will pick something on every course that catches me just right and paint it with my own techniques. I started this a few years back and thought why not let others enjoy what I do
